While winter weddings can sometimes be associated with chilly weather and gray skies, Erika and Christian's day was anything but. A sunlit December day provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration. We love filming at Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, NJ because of its stunning grounds and elegant atmosphere, and the winter sunlight added a unique and beautiful dimension to their video. From the snow-dusted golf course to the warm glow of the sun streaming through the windows, every moment felt incredibly special.
A Heartfelt Ceremony: The Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John The Theologian
The day began with a beautiful ceremony at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John The Theologian in Tenafly, NJ. This stunning cathedral is a true masterpiece, and the perfect setting for Erika and Christian's vows. The sun streamed through the stained glass windows, creating a magical atmosphere as they exchanged their rings. It was a truly heartfelt and emotional ceremony, and we're so glad we were able to capture every moment on video.
A Stunning Celebration: Edgewood Country Club Reception
After the ceremony, we headed over to Edgewood Country Club for the reception. The ballroom was transformed into a winter wonderland, with elegant decor and warm lighting. Erika and Christian's family and friends were all smiles as they celebrated the happy couple. We were especially impressed by the band, Hank Lane – Frank Simmons Band, who kept the dance floor packed all night long. The energy was electric, and we were so glad to be there to capture all the fun.
