Video Editing Info and FAQ
Thanks for choosing Reggio Productions! We can't wait to get started on your video edit. Here are some common editing questions and guidelines to help answer any questions you may have about your video.
What type of music do you use?
We're happy to offer our clients a unique library of fully licensed, independent, royalty free music through the music licensing sites Artlist and Soundstripe. Just let us know what kind of genre best fits your style and we'll pick the perfect song for you! If you'd prefer to hand pick your own music, feel free to browse the music libraries at https://artlist.io/ and https://app.soundstripe.com/
We really want to use a song that isn't in the Artlist or Soundstripe libraries. Can we?
Due to copyright laws, we are limited to only sharing legally licensed music in our videos. If you have a particular request let us know and we'd be happy to check the available licensing resources and obtain a license for your video. However, certain popular songs may be subject to additional licensing fees. Some music publishers may not respond to our requests or take a very long time to respond.
When can we expect to receive our footage?
We'll be in touch with you throughout the editing process so you'll know exactly how far along we are and when you will be receiving your footage. The average turn around is 6-8 weeks. In the unlikely event your edit takes longer than expected, we will update you with an ETA!
How do you decide what to put in our highlight?
For our cinematic highlights, we like to create a recap of your day, start to finish, hitting all the important moments. That being said, if there's anything in particular you want to make sure we include in your highlight, just let us know in your video editing questionnaire!
If we want to make changes to our highlight will it cost us anything?
For simple re-editing requests (music changes, adding or subtracting clips) we offer our clients one free re-edit to make sure you are completely satisfied with your end result! Any additional editing requests after your first re-edit may be subject to additional charges.
